What can I donate?
- All Canned goods – fruits, vegetables, soups, etc.
- Slightly dented cans OK
- Slightly outdated items OK
- NO rusty cans
- Boxed items (ie cake mixes, Mac & Cheese, instant potatoes)
- Any item for consumption MUST be in original sealed container
- Juice – 100%juice, 64 oz container preferred; any sizelpercentage accepted
- Cereals: nutritional cereals (no sugars) preferred
- NO over-the-counter drugs, including homeopathic
- aluminum foil, plastic wrap
- “zip loc” – especially strong ones
- Dried items: beans, rice. Prefer 1 or 2#, but larger acceptable
- Home canned items, including jams, Mormon canning
- Fresh fruits and Vegetables: depends on “keep ability” andlor storage available
- School snack items: individually wrapped, single serving items (fruit cups, granola bars, fruit roll-ups)
- Cookies, crackers, nuts
- Coffee, creamers
- Milk: powdered or canned
- Meats/Fish: canned only
- Popcorn
- Hotel soaps and shampoos
- Tea
- Prefer 5# bags of flour/sugar, but will accept larger
- NO frozen or refrigerated items
- Baby items:
- Foods MUST not have expired
- Diapers and wipes
- Cleaning Supplies:
- Any cleaners, including partial containers
- Laundry detergents, softener, bleach
- Personal Hygiene:
- Any personal care items such as shaving lotion, tampons, shampoo, conditioners,
- toothpaste/brushes (sealed), Partial; containers OK.
- Depends
- Pets:
- Dog and cat food. Prefer dry food (partial bag ok) but wet ok.
- Treats
- Paper Goods:
- Any “paper” goods: paper towels, paper handkerchiefs, toilet paper, plastic trash bags.
